i made it out for the opening act tonight and i am grateful that i did..
they started out with one of my favorites “Can’t Stop Praising Your Name, Jesus!”

and this brotha was having him a good time…so much so, that the ladies in front of him complained to security…and he smiled them away
…the only thing that stopped him was when the rain started pouring like the lake was droppin on us! (there were at least 50 people hiding out under the “bean” in this pic and i could not resist stopping to get a shot.
and even i left after sitting in it for at least 15 minutes…sittin in it, mind you with no umbrella…they are just too cumbersome..so i resorted to the good old plastic bag over my head move, so that i could actually see where i was going!
and of course when i got a few blocks away, the sun started to peek back out…
oh well, besides the praisin’ on high music, the other highlight for me was when one of the Rev’s said “some of you need to put those umbrellas down and let the rain wash away some thangs”
